SIU Credit Union’s Community Blood Drive
Blood drives are fantastic for assisting the local community and countless others. The American Red Cross reports that every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Although the demand is so high, less than 10% of eligible U.S. donors actually donate.
If you haven’t considered donating blood before, it is a quick and easy way to help others. The donation process typically takes only an hour and 15 minutes. If you would like to donate, we are hosting a blood drive on Thursday, April 24 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the N. Giant City Road branch near Kroger in Carbondale. Signing up to donate is as easy as visiting www.redcrossblood.org. Come visit the blood drive and help save lives!
