SIU Credit Union holds an annual meeting generally the third Tuesday of March. Our next annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. All members are encouraged and welcome to attend SIU Credit Union’s Annual Meeting.

Meet our leadership team
Meet SIU Credit Union’s Board of Directors, Executive Management, and employees. President & CEO, Mike Lantrip, provides a credit union update including a recap of last year and plans for the future. A new Annual Report will be available at the meeting.
Our next annual meeting will be held at the Carbondale branch located at 395 N. Giant City Road at 5:15 p.m. We hope to see you there!
Election for Board of Directors
Elections for open seats on the SIU Credit Union Board of Directors are held at the Annual Meeting.
The following nominees met all qualifications to be elected to the SIU Credit Union Board of Directors:
Deb Nelson
Deb Nelson began serving SIU Credit Union as a member of the Credit Committee in 2017. She joined the Board in April of 2018 after Board Member, Gary Drake, passed away. She is currently a member of the Supervisory Committee. Deb, a double graduate of Southern Illinois University, is now also employed there. She resides in Carterville, IL.
Melissa Easton
Melissa Easton began serving SIU Credit Union as a member of the Supervisory Committee in 2020. She joined the Board in May of 2022 replacing Board Member Barb Humphrey. She is currently the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee. Melissa is a lifelong resident of Southern Illinois and SIUC graduate. She resides in Makanda, IL
Members interested in applying for a seat may submit their Nominations by Petition by February 1, 2025.
